proof that love is weird: I have this beagle. I’ve got her on my lap, and she’s having a snooze, and her mouth is wrinkled like the Grinch’s mouth, and I think to myself: that is too fucking cute, I’m going to die. and then she licks her lips in her sleep and I make a high-pitched sound. and then she sticks her nose into my armpit and whuffles contentedly and I quietly shriek with love and she startles and gives me a dubious look and it doesn’t make any sense.
